Asato Ohno is the Co-Founder and National Director of BNI Japan. He joined BNI as a Founder Member of a core group in London, UK in 2002. As a Member, he realised the power of the referral marketing and decided to to start BNI in Japan. 

 

Before BNI, he worked for Merrill Lynch and Paribas in Tokyo and London. He co-founded an internet service company in London in 2002 which drove him to join BNI.

 

Asato’s vision is to make BNI’s effective marketing program and the philosophy of “Givers  Gain” well known among entrepreneurs and business professionals across the Land of The Rising Sun.

Stanley and Stella have been with BNI for over 13 years. They have regions in China with over 2,300+ members in Shenzhen and Guangzhou and have also built the BNI Hong Kong Region to over 2,500+ members with their partner Avryl Au.

 

All 3 of their regions (Hong Kong, Lo Wu and Tianhe) were awarded the Top 10 World Traffic Lights of all BNI regions in the world in 2018 which is a commendable achievement.

 

Stanley and Stella were appointed as the National Directors of BNI Mainland China in 1 January 2018.

 

Under their leadership, BNI Mainland China has over 2,000 members growth with over 70 chapters in total.

Smart Xie graduated as a Mechanical Engineer in Taipei in 1980. He was in several businesses including F&B, NLP and Personal Development Consultant for 23 years before being introduced to BNI.

 

He qualified as the first BNI Executive Director in Taiwan in 2008. In 2010, he surpassed the 200-Member mark. He was one of the key speakers for the National Conference in Malaysia in 2017.

 

In 2018 he was appointed as the National Director of BNI Taiwan. Smart supports more than 3,500 Members in Taiwan today. His vision is to lead BNI Taiwan as the leading model country for the BNI Franchise.

Susan Choo is the Regional Director for BNI Malaysia in Johor Bahru and co Executive Director for Batu Pahat & Muar, Melaka and Seremban.

 

As a full time BNI Director, she oversees 22 chapters across 4 regions.

 

After more than a decade into this business of serving entrepreneurs in her 4 regions, Susan feels her BNI journey can best be described as “Stumbling from challenges to challenges without losing ENTHUSIASM”.

 

Together with her team of Director Consultants which also includes her daughter and son-in-law, they have turned this region into one of the top BNI regions in the world.

Syireen participated in BNI 6 years ago and has held leadership roles including the NEC, LVH and VP. Subsequently as President, she led a 17-member chapter grow to platinum status in less than a year. She took up a BNI Director Consultant role in 2015. She was a Gold Club member and currently one of the main MSP trainer for Team Metro.

 

Wan Adli has been in the e-Learning business for 16 years and with BNI for 11 years. Served as President, Director Consultant, Area Director, and Regional Director, he was also recognised as the best Support and Growth Director for Malaysia in the year 2018.

 

In 2019 both Adli and Syireen were appointed as the Executive Directors of BNI Klang Valley South Region where they are actively creating collaborations with the corporate and government agencies to create a win-win ecosystem to support entrepreneurship growth.
